Approach
Beginning therapy is a call to adventure. It’s a journey of self-discovery that can feel dark at times, but can ultimately lead to great insight, compassion, and wisdom. I’m here to guide and support your inner quest.
How I Work
My practice is informed by studies in psychodynamic theory, Internal Family Systems (sometimes called "parts work"), self-compassion, mindfulness, creative arts, and Buddhist psychology.
I combine elements of talk therapy with gentle, trauma-informed awareness practices that help clients cultivate inner kindness and heal parts of themselves that feel burdened. When inner parts are healed, they feel less compelled to ruminate, obsess, or depress. That means there is more space for the qualities you want to have!

I also love to infuse journaling and art into sessions for those are interested. I find that writing and art-making can help clients tap into their unconscious, support the mind-body connection, and develop insight and new perspectives.

Many of my clients find that they feel more confident, present, and connected to themselves and others as a result of our work.
